Our Story

Jared Lee graduated from Shadle Park High School and attended University of Idaho as a member of their track and field team. It was there God began to do a work in his heart and change the trajectory of his life. Soon after, Jared met his amazing wife Meggan in 2003 at Calvary Chapel Bible College and has been working in the local church ever since. He graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College as well as Calvary Chapel School of Ministry and has worked at various positions within the local church including 9 years of pastoral ministry at Calvary Chapel Montrose in Montrose, Colorado.

A deep desire to watch God's Word change lives has taken the Lee family all around the World, however, the community and authentic relationships within the local church are the Lee family's greatest joy.

In the spring of 2016 God began moving the Lee's in an exciting new direction leading the way for the starting of a new church, Riverstone Chapel, in Spokane, Washington.

Six years later, we have deepened relationships, expanded in numbers, and continue to be transformed. We have welcomed Ben Bunfill as an ordained pastor of Riverstone Chapel and have developed other leaders who help guide our church body, sharpen us daily, and let us live in authentic community.

Our Roots

Riverstone Chapel was planted in 2016 in Spokane, Washington backed by both Calvary Chapel and Association of Related Churches. The Governing board of Riverstone Chapel consists of established pastors with affiliations to Calvary Chapel as well as Association of Related Churches. This board is in place to provide sound biblical guidance as well as financial accountability for the good of the church body.

Our Values

  1. One thing matters most. God’s Word.

God’s Word is how He decided to reveal Himself to mankind and how He identified His only begotten Son. It’s all we really have to offer, and so we will read it, live it, and proclaim it to the the of God and Father until He calls us home.

  2. We choose relationship.

We understand that the Gospel most effectively travels along relational lines and so we prioritize connecting with and investing in people to reflect the love of our God for the world.

  3. We’re all in.

The stakes are high and the time is short, so we reject mediocrity in order to see God transform lives through the hope of the Gospel. (Ephesians 5:16, Philippians 3:12-14, Ephesians 4:1)

  4. Who’s Next? The Next Generation.

We are motivated by the next generation because they are the future of Jesus’ Church. We represent a creative, passionate, awesome God who can use the next generation and their gifts to change the world. (Joshua 4:21-24, Psalm 71:18)
